Pastor Terry Newsome

Senior Pastor, Terry C. Newsome, is a long time resident of Columbia County. He was born in Augusta, GA, and resided here through early adulthood. He married Althea Graham and has three children. Pastor Newsome was a national evangelist and associate pastor in both Ohio and Indiana before accepting the pastorate in Carrolton, Kentucky for ten years. In 1988 he and his family returned to Augusta and accepted the pastorate at Greater Augusta Apostolic Church. Pastor Newsome is passionate about the work of God in our community as well as globally in the foreign mission fields. He has a compassionate heart and a fervent desire to see lives changed by the power of God.
