The Gates of Hell & the Prevailing Church (Bill Davis)

Hell has been at war with the Church for more than two thousand years, without question. Yet so many in the Church have not been at war with the gates of Hell. Therefore, in many places and with many people the gates of Hell have prevailed. If Jesus wasn't exempt from Satan's attack, then neither is His Church. We cannot allow ourselves to be indifferent to what the powers of Hell are doing, nor can we be indifferent to what the Spirit of God wants to do in us and through us. We are the ones that must establish the rules of engagement. We are the ones that must fight the good fight of faith. The pattern for the Church's behavior is clearly set forth.
